Key responsibilities of the role:

•Assure safe patient intra-operative intervention followed by quality patient care in the recovery room
•Caring for and educating patients about their conditions, as well as establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families
•Adapts and maintains a customer-focused mindset that acknowledges the importance and value of the customer, and acts accordingly
•Actively seeks customer input regarding their needs, requirements and preferences
•Mutually beneficial relationships are built and maintained with colleagues and multi-disciplinary team 
•Ensures patient records meet legal requirements and Mediclinic standards 
•Continuous improvement projects are implemented and monitored 
•Stock / equipment managed and controlled 
•Participate in Continuous Professional Development 
•Professional ethics, Mediclinic values and caring standards are demonstrated

Desired Skills and Experience:

Locally based candidates with 2-5 years experience in Anaesthetic Nursing, will be given preference, but we are happy to consider candidates from overseas, who have the desired experience and qualifications

•Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized Nursing Institute
•Active DHA eligibility or license is a definite advantage
•Proof of valid registration as a Registered Nurse from home country 
•Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills 
•Accreditation experience will be a distinct advantage 
•Can work well within a team
•Fluent in English and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage 
•Strong service culture orientation. At ease functioning in a multicultural environment 
•Basic computer literacy skills
