Experience Required

Must have significant experience and understanding of the delivery of operational services in major acute general hospitals.

Ideally currently working at similar level with extensive strategic, financial and investment planning of hard Facility Management services in hospitals / healthcare institutions.

Must possess Master Degree in major engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical) with appropriate chartered accreditation from reputable and internationally recognized engineering institute

Have the ability to develop and motivate a large multicultural workforce, and deliver the services efficiently with continuous improvement.

Responsibility

Providing Strategic Direction Professional Facility Management to the Hospital.

Working closely with Directors of Nursing and other clinical Staff to ensure that the services in the facilities are functionally suitable, safe, and in compliance local regulatory requirement, approved codes of practice, NFPA, HTM and WHO.

Managing and overseeing outsourced performance based Facility management contracts.

Managing and overseeing operational commissioning of new healthcare facilities.

Making sure that the facility management services meet the joint commission International (JCI) standards with an objective of obtaining and securing JCI Accredition.
