Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to hospital CEO and/or Senior Management.
In charge of strategising, planning, directing, implementing and evaluating of safety standards at leading Hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsible for the overall development and management of a comprehensive safety program for our partner/Client Hospitals and Medical Services.
Work collaboratively with the hospital Corporate Management to develop strategic organisation-wide safety and risk-management initiative.
Analyse organisation-wide deficiencies in Safety and identifies appropriate interventions to reduce risk and liability to the organisation.
Evaluate, analyse and implement organisation-wide risk management program to ensure compliance with statutory mandates, regulatory requirement and accreditation standards of local agencies, national and international bodies including (not limited to) JCI and OSHA.
Determine the degree of compliance of each Hospital Facility with applicable standards such as NFPA 101, JCI and local standards for Facility Management Safety to meet the accreditation requirements.
Participate in organisation-wide disaster preparedness and pertinent safety initiatives.
Serve as an expert resource to Senior Leadership regarding design of Hospital Facility to meet concurrent safety standards and serve as organisational liaison with designers, planners and contractors for new construction/ renovation projects.
Review, develop and monitor the effectiveness of organisation-wide Fire Prevention and Life Safety Program
Oversee all documents for the Facility Management and Safety Chapters.
Conduct organisation-wide annual evaluation of EOC (Environment of Care)/Life Safety programs to collect information about deficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsible for policies and procedures that fall under EOC/FMS.
Conduct organisation-wide educational programs, training and upgrading of HSE Officers and Facility Managers, ensure safety awareness across all levels of staff in the organisation.:
