BS degree in biomedical engineering or related discipline from an accredited engineering college or university and a minimum of four (4) years related experience in biomedical engineering, or MS degree in biomedical engineering and two (2) years related experience, or Ph.D. from an accredited engineering school.
Requires hands-on experience in the maintenance, operation, and calibration of physiological instrumentation.
Experience in designing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance and calibration plan, including electrical safety inspection, for a system of physiological instruments.
Experience with real-time data acquisition from physiological instruments.
Certified Clinical Engineer, or ability to become certified, highly preferred.
Knowledge of and experience implementing U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standard operating procedures, methods, and policies is desired.
Excellent technical writing, verbal communication skills, and computer literacy.

Work Environment
Office and industrial facility environment. Must be able to commute between buildings to support work requirements.
Physical Requirements
Most work will be done at a desk or computer, but certain tasks may involve long periods of sitting or standing. Must be able to navigate office and industrial settings.
Equipment and Machines
Personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
Attendance
Attendance is critical at all times to ensure response to customer requirements. Overtime may be required.
